Google Business Profile Management

Local visibility in Google Search and Maps — more calls, directions, and customers

We manage your Google Business Profile — profile optimisation, regular posts, review responses, photos, and Insights analysis.

Every month — a report on profile views, calls, direction requests, and website visits.

What is Google Business Profile and why does it matter?

Google Business Profile is a free Google tool that determines how your business appears in Google Search and Google Maps. It is that information block with the business name, star rating, opening hours, photos, and a “Call” button that appears when someone searches for a service near them.

For most local businesses — hair salons, car repair shops, restaurants, dentists, lawyers, construction companies — the profile is more important than the website. When someone searches for “hair salon near me” or “dentist nearby”, they make most of the decision right there on the Google search results page, without opening a single website. How your profile looks is often the difference between a call and a closed tab.

How does Google choose which business to show higher?

Google’s local search results are determined by three main factors. Understanding them is the foundation of profile optimisation.

Relevance. How well your profile matches what the person searched for. This depends on correct business categories, precise service descriptions, and a fully completed profile. Many businesses lose out here because they have chosen one general category where several precise ones are needed.

Distance. How far your business is physically located from the person searching. You cannot change this, but you can influence how wide an area your profile appears in at all, through correct service-area settings.

Prominence. How well-known and trustworthy your business appears in Google’s eyes. This is built by the number and rating of reviews, the regularity of reviews, the quality of the website, and mentions in other sources. This is the factor that consistent work can improve the most.

What do businesses with a weak profile usually struggle with?

These are the most common problems we find when we start working with a client’s Google Business Profile.

The profile is only partially completed

Service descriptions are missing, not all relevant categories have been added, the “from the business” section is not filled in, opening hours are old or incomplete. Google treats an incomplete profile as less trustworthy and shows it lower.

Reviews are left without a response

Many businesses either do not respond to reviews at all, or respond only to negative ones. Google takes the regularity of responses into account, and potential customers read how the business communicates — especially how it reacts to criticism.

Nothing happens on the profile

The profile is created and then left motionless. There are no new photos, no Google Posts, no updates. An active profile is, in Google’s view, a more viable business — and that is reflected in rankings.

A negative review damages the overall impression

One or two negative reviews without a professional response can deter customers more than ten positive ones can persuade them. A well-phrased response to a negative review often leaves a better impression than the absence of one.

No one tracks what is actually happening

The business does not know how many people saw the profile, how many called, how many requested directions. Without this data, it is impossible to understand whether the profile is actually making money, and which actions improve it.

What does Google Business Profile management at ACCESSIO include?

The service includes everything needed for the profile to work as a customer acquisition tool.

Profile optimisation. We create or take over your profile, achieve its verification, and complete everything — categories, services, descriptions, contact information, opening hours, service area. The goal: for Google to understand precisely what you do and for whom.

Regular Google Posts. Every month we publish posts about news, offers, services, or events. An active profile ranks higher in Google and looks more trustworthy to the customer.

Review management. We respond to reviews — both positive and negative — professionally and in your brand’s tone. In the case of a negative review, we phrase a response that reduces the damage and shows that the business listens.

Photo and video management. We upload and optimise high-quality photos and video. Profiles with regularly added, high-quality photos get more views and actions than profiles with a few old pictures.

Questions and Answers (Q&A). We answer questions customers ask on the profile and proactively add frequently asked questions with answers — this reduces obstacles on the way to a call.

Insights analysis and reporting. Every month we analyse the profile data — views, search queries, calls, direction requests — and provide a report on what is improving and why.

Who is this service for?

Google Business Profile management from ACCESSIO is suitable for:

  • Hair salons, beauty salons, and cosmetologists
  • Restaurants, cafés, and bars
  • Car repair shops and car dealerships
  • Dental clinics and medical services
  • Lawyers, accountants, and other local professional services
  • Construction and renovation companies
  • Shops with a physical location
  • Driving schools, sports clubs, training centres

Profile management is not necessary for businesses that operate only online and have no physical location or service area — for those, Google Ads or social media advertising delivers a greater return.

How much does Google Business Profile management cost?

Unlike Facebook or Google Ads, Google Business Profile is a free Google tool — there is no advertising budget to pay to a platform. The only cost is the management fee paid to ACCESSIO for managing the profile.

The management fee includes profile optimisation, monthly posts, review management, photos, the Questions and Answers section, and Insights analysis. The specific amount depends on the number of profiles (for businesses with several locations) and the scope of work. We name the exact figure after the initial conversation.

No long-term contracts — you pay month by month and can end the cooperation at the end of any month.

How does the work process go?

1. Conversation and audit. We get in touch by phone or video call. We look at your existing profile (if there is one) and evaluate what is missing and where the greatest opportunities for improvement are.

2. Optimisation. Within 3 business days of receiving payment, profile optimisation begins — categories, services, descriptions, contact information, opening hours, photos. Basic optimisation is one-time work that forms the foundation for everything else.

3. Weekly update. Every week you receive a short message by email or WhatsApp — what has been done, what reviews have been received, and how they have been answered.

4. Regular maintenance. Every month — new Google Posts, responses to reviews and questions, adding new photos, keeping the profile up to date.

5. Monthly report. At the end of the month, a report with profile views, calls, direction requests, and website visits from the profile. Based on it, we evaluate what is working and what to improve.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Google Business Profile cost?

Google Business Profile itself is completely free — Google charges nothing to create and maintain it. A cost arises only if you entrust profile management to an agency. In ACCESSIO’s case, that is the management fee for profile optimisation, monthly posts, review management, and reporting. There is no advertising budget here, because the profile is not an advertising platform.

How quickly does profile optimisation deliver results?

The effect of basic profile optimisation (more complete information, the right categories) is often visible within 2–4 weeks. However, serious improvement of local search rankings is long-term work — gathering reviews, regular activity, and building prominence usually deliver stable results within 3–6 months.

Can the profile replace a website?

Partly, but not entirely. For many local businesses, the profile is the first and often only point of contact — a person finds it, calls, and comes in without opening the website. However, a website still matters: it influences the profile’s prominence factor, provides a place for detailed information, and increases trust. The optimal situation is a profile and a website that support each other.

How should negative reviews be handled?

Negative reviews must not be ignored, and usually must not be deleted either (Google allows this only in cases where a review breaches the rules). The right approach is a professional, calm response that shows the business listens and resolves the problem. Such a response often leaves a better impression on potential customers than the review itself — they see how the business handles a difficult situation. We help phrase responses that reduce the damage.

Can you get me more reviews?

We help set up a process that makes it easier for satisfied customers to leave a review — for example, a direct link to the review form, a QR code, or a text message template. We do not buy or generate fake reviews — that goes against Google’s rules and, sooner or later, harms the business. A regular flow of genuine reviews is one of the strongest local ranking factors.

I have several locations. Can you manage all the profiles?

Yes. For businesses with several locations, each branch is a separate profile, and each needs its own optimisation and maintenance. We work with multi-profile management — this also helps ensure that information is consistent across branches, which Google values.

What is the difference between the profile and Google Ads?

The profile is a free tool that improves your organic (unpaid) visibility in Google Search and Maps. Google Ads is paid advertising that appears at the top of search results marked “Sponsored”. They are not competing but complementary tools — a well-optimised profile also improves Google Ads campaign results, because local advertising is often linked to the profile.
